"Are not two sparrow sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid ; you are worth more than many sparrows" Matthew 10:29-31

What's with the name?

Here's a quick explanation of why I named my blog:
"A Sparrow By Any Other Name"
There are three reasons for the name:

Also, as you probably know, the quote "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet", came from Romeo and Juliet.

Basically what it means is,
What matters is what something is, not what it is called.

First of all, I just love birds.

Second of all :

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
-Matthew 6:26

Third of all:
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
